| Biography | Currently a PhD Candidate at the Collaborative Research Centre in Australian History (CRCAH) Federation University, having completed Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English and Cultural Studies at University of Melbourne and University of Western Australia, and Graduate Diploma in International Law at Monash University. I’m also working in the field of strategic foresight with a Ballarat based consultancy, having worked previously in local, state and Commonwealth governments, and in the community sector. |

| Project title | “Places of Unrest: Social value, historic value, and urban change in Ballarat” |
| Project description | Not only do values change over time, but so does the value of places. Using the concepts of social and historic value, this research project aims to identify the ways in which the way that people understand value have either changed or remained constant over time in Ballarat. Some values in place are more vulnerable to change than others, so change needs to be managed effectively in order to both protect and prepare communities affected by change. This project will build a framework for local authorities, communities and businesses to better manage social and historic value in places. |
